Our Founder & Director - James Mullen

James Mullen is the founder and director of Christ Satisfies Ministries. Along with his wife, Anne, and their three children, he currently lives and ministers in north Minneapolis, MN, where they are members of Family Baptist Church. James is a Licensed Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ under Family Baptist Church. Both he and CSM are under the authority of our local church.

He has had four years of Biblical instruction under one of the nation’s foremost Bible teachers, Dr. John MacArthur, pastor of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, CA. A graduate of The Bethlehem Institute (TBI), James formerly taught one of the institute’s core curriculum courses, Theological Foundations I, in a small group pilot program. TBI is the teaching arm of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, MN, which is pastored by Dr. John Piper. James sat under Dr. Piper’s teaching for approximately three years.

His ministry includes evangelizing the people in the community, conducting monthly outreaches among four main groups – gang members/drug dealers, prostitutes, homeless and local residents, teaching Bible Studies at Christian recovery/treatment centers and within the local church, preaching and discipleship at the local jail & prison, exhorting the broader church regarding the importance of utilizing the various means of grace Jesus provides for growth and sanctification mainly addressing the vital need for meditation on the Word as part of the Christian walk and preaching Truth in various locales.
